Dabbu is a personal iPhone app used only by its developer. It is not published on the App Store and has no other users.
What Dabbu reads
- Gmail, read-only: transaction alert and statement emails from the user's credit card banks.
- Swiggy: the user's own order history, through Swiggy's official interface.
- Bank text messages that the user passes to the app through an iOS Shortcuts automation.
Where the data goes
- All of it is processed and stored on the user's iPhone.
- Dabbu has no server, and nothing is sent to the developer or to anyone else, sold, or used for advertising.
- Splitwise: when the user chooses to split a purchase, its amount, merchant and date are sent to the user's own Splitwise account.
- Email content is never sent anywhere.
Google user data
Dabbu's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
Removing access
- Gmail access can be revoked at any time at myaccount.google.com/permissions.
- Deleting the app deletes all of its data.
